Milano Student Living secures €41.4 million financing for new student residence in Cologno Monzese

Milano Student Living secures €41.4 million financing from UniCredit for new 600-bed student residence in Cologno Monzese.

Milano Student Living S.r.l., a special purpose vehicle belonging to Gruppo LIFE, a company with consolidated experience across a broad range of European asset classes (from residential to office, commercial and cultural) in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and co-living sectors, with over 10,000 beds delivered in the past 10 years, has secured a financing of €41.4 million from UniCredit S.p.A. The financing will fund the acquisition and development costs of a new purpose-built student accommodation with approximately 600 beds in Cologno Monzese, contributing to the expansion of university housing supply in the Milan metropolitan area.

UniCredit S.p.A. was assisted on the organisation and structuring of the financing and the preparation of the related financial documentation by Gianni & Origoni, with a team led by partner Eduardo Fiordiliso, senior counsel Antonio Amoroso and associate Elisa Palaj

Milano Student Living S.r.l. was assisted on all aspects relating to the organisation of the financial structure and the financing documentation by FIVERS Studio Legale e Tributario, with a team led by partner Mara Fittipaldi, supported by junior associate Filippo Vialetto and trainee Giovanni Nania, and, for tax matters, by managing partner Francesco Mantegazza, partner Edoardo Bassi and associate Federica Zaro.
