Explore career opportunities across China!
24 July 2026
Meet leading employers, expand your professional network, and take the next step towards an exciting global career
Interested in launching a career in China? Attend one of our in-person Careers in China fairs this August. For over 20 years, these events have helped thousands of students and graduates connect with top employers and discover opportunities in the Chinese job market.
In partnership with King’s College London, LSE, UCL, the University of Cambridge, the University of Chicago and Cornell University, we will be hosting four careers fairs in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. By bringing together students from top UK and US universities, the events attract a diverse range of employers eager to recruit talented graduates.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with hiring managers, learn more about graduate roles, internships and career pathways, and build valuable professional connections. Careers fairs are an excellent way to expand your network, gain industry insights and make a positive impression on employers before submitting applications
Our Careers Service’s Deputy Director, Richard Carruthers, shares his advice:
- Research the organisations you’d like to meet before attending (lists will be published on the webpage soon).
- Update your CV and be prepared to discuss your skills, experiences and achievements.
- Prepare a short 20-second introduction covering who you are, what you’re studying and your career interests.
- Come with thoughtful questions to help you learn more about employers and make a positive impression.
To help you make the most of the fairs, we recommend exploring our Careers Snapshot video series, particularly Making the most of careers fairs and Making the most of employer events, which offer practical advice on preparing for employer conversations and maximising networking opportunities
Places are limited and tickets are expected to be in high demand, so students and recent alumni are encouraged to book early webpage
We look forward to seeing you there!
